My first try at pantry boxes and new cookbook

Hello everyone.I hope you are having a nice Tuesday.I wanted to share this with my crafting friends.I absolutely love old pantry boxes and when Char over at The Pickled Pepper Patch http://charsethman.blogspot.com/2009/06/tuesdays-tutorial.html had a tutorial on how to make these,I knew I had to try.Besides the fact that when I went to Hobby Lobby all the paper mache was on sale which I took as a sign.I thought they turned out pretty good for my first try.

This is the top box

This is the middle box
This is the bottom box ......I know the suspense is killin ya..........................................................................................................

Here they are all put together.

Now for my second part of my post.I was so excited when the mail came today.I got my Gooseberry Patch cookbook in the mail.Just like Carey over at http://americangirlprimitivesnsuch.blogspot.com/ I too luv cookbooks. But not only did I get the cookbook but I also got for free this insulated casserole cover.Yippee! I can't wait to sit down and look at my new book.I will study it from front to back.I know there is going to be lots of great family recipes that I can't wait to try.Until next time:0)

Nice job on the boxes! I haven't tried that yet. Char has the best ideas, doesn't she?! If you find any good recipes (I know you will!) I hope you'll share them with us.
